Bitter Tears by Inxs

An old face makes a comeback at Southampton Football Club.

Rupert Lowe is to return to the board of Southampton Football Club.

In a statement to the stock exchange, the club has confirmed that Leon Crouch, Patrick Trant and Keith Wiseman have resigned as Directors at St Mary's.

In their place, the statement says, Andrew Cowen, Rupert Lowe and Michael Wilde are taking seats on the board.

An Extraordinary General Meeting planned for tomorrow will not now take place.

Lowe left the club in June 2006, following its relegation - and fan revolts against his leadership.
