Hampshire is now home to a new machine which will teach air ambulance pilots how to escape their helicopter if they ever end up in the water.
The "Underwater Escape Trainer" is based at Andark Diving Centre in Lower Swanick, near Fareham.
One of only 7 or 8 in the country, it's designed to simulate what it's like to be in an upturned helicopter - or power-boat - in the sea. |
